Stretching Your Cannabis Budget: Saving with Deals, Discounts & Bud Bucks
Medical cannabis is real money. Between regular refills and trying new products, it can add up fast — especially if you’re on a fixed income.
At Arkansas’ Finest, we try to give patients multiple ways to save without sacrificing quality or safety. Here’s how to make the most of weekly deals, Compassionate Care discounts, and our loyalty program, The Collective Club.
1. Use weekly deals and rotating specials
Each Arkansas’ Finest location runs weekly promotions so patients can save on different product types throughout the month. Depending on the week and the store, you might see:
Category features
Discounts on flower, vapes, concentrates, or edibles
Weekly Brand Spotlights
Selected products from a featured brand on sale
Employee Favorites
Rotating “staff pick” deals so you can try what the team is loving
Holiday & “national day” promos
Extra savings around major holidays or fun themes (like chocolate, coffee, etc.)
Best way to keep up:
Check your location’s online menu regularly
Watch in-store signage
Sign up for texts and emails so you get heads-up on upcoming deals
2. Take advantage of Compassionate Care discounts
We offer an ongoing 10% discount on eligible purchases for:
Veterans
Seniors 65+
Low-income patients
This discount is our way of helping patients who may need extra support to access their medicine.
Key things to remember:
The 10% discount applies to eligible full-priced items.
It cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts.
It usually doesn’t apply to items that are already on sale or part of special promotions.
Eligibility for low-income status is determined through our Compassionate Care guidelines at the dispensary level and may involve documentation (such as proof of disability or income-based assistance). If you think you might qualify, ask your budtender or front desk for details at your home store.
3. Join The Collective Club (Bud Bucks loyalty program)
If you’re shopping at Arkansas’ Finest and not earning Bud Bucks, you’re leaving savings on the table.
The Collective Club is our loyalty program that rewards you every time you shop at participating locations:
Clarksville
Conway
Eureka Springs
Morrilton
Pine Bluff
(Additional locations may be added — check with your store.)
How Bud Bucks work
You earn Bud Bucks on eligible purchases at participating Arkansas’ Finest dispensaries.
The current collection rate is 5% cash back in Bud Bucks on eligible purchases.
Your points balance shows on your receipt so you can see how close you are to your next reward.
Program details (including what earns points and whether points are awarded on discounted items) can vary by product or promotion, so ask your budtender if you’re ever unsure.
Redeeming Bud Bucks
When you’re ready to redeem, you can take dollars off your purchase according to our Bud Bucks chart, up to a maximum of $50 off per transaction.
Redemption rules and exclusions (such as some sale items or limited-time promos) will be explained at the register.
4. Stack strategy: how to plan your purchases
Because discounts don’t stack on top of each other, a little planning goes a long way. Here are a few examples of how to think about it:
Example 1: You qualify for the 10% discount.
Use your Compassionate Care discount on weeks when you’re buying mostly full-priced items.
On weeks when your favorite products are on a big sale, you might skip the 10% and just lean into the sale pricing.
Example 2: You’re saving Bud Bucks for a bigger trip.
Let your Bud Bucks balance grow for a bit.
When you’re planning a larger restock, redeem up to $50 off for a noticeable dent in the total.
Example 3: You’re trying to manage a tight monthly budget.
Use weekly promos to stock up on certain categories as they rotate through the month.
Use your 10% discount on smaller in-between visits for items that aren’t currently on sale.
If you’re not sure which option saves you more on a given day, ask your budtender to walk you through the math at checkout — it’s absolutely okay to say, “What’s the cheapest way to do this today?”
5. Non-discount ways to make your budget go further
Savings aren’t just about percentage-off deals. These habits can help too:
Keep a simple journal.
Note what you bought, how you used it, and how it felt.
Over time, you’ll find which products are worth the money for you personally.
Right-size your dose.
Sometimes a slightly lower-THC or smaller-dose product still does what you need, and lasts longer per package.
Ask about “value” options.
Many locations offer value flower, shake, or larger-format edibles that can be more cost-effective.
The bottom line
You shouldn’t have to choose between paying your bills and accessing your medicine. While we can’t control every cost, Arkansas’ Finest tries to help by offering:
If you’re not sure how to get the most out of these programs, ask us next time you’re in. We’re happy to help you build a plan that fits your budget and your needs — without the guesswork.
