MEDICAL CARDS

  • Yes! All Arkansas medical marijuana patients must have an Arkansas-issued Medical Marijuana Card to purchase and consume cannabis. Click here to get started.

  • Out-of-state patients may use the Arkansas Visitor Pass, which is valid for 90 days.

  • Patients who possess an Arkansas medical marijuana card may legally possess and obtain medical cannabis provided by state-licensed dispensaries. However, patients under the age of 21 are not permitted to consume herbal forms of cannabis.

  • To obtain an Arkansas Medical Marijuana Card, all new patients must:

    • Be 18 years of age or older or be a minor patient with parental consent.

    • Be diagnosed with a qualifying medical condition.

    • Have the official written certification from a physician.

    • Be an Arkansas resident with proof of residency (AR Driver’s License or AR State ID card).

    ​Note: State law prohibits members of the Arkansas National Guard and United States Military from obtaining a registry ID card.

  • If you have one of the following conditions, you may qualify to receive an Arkansas Medical Marijuana Card:

    • Cancer

    • Glaucoma

    • Positive status for human immunodeficiency virus/acquired immune deficiency syndrome.

    • Hepatitis C

    • Fibromyalgia

    • Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis

    • Tourette’s syndrome

    • Crohn’s disease

    • Ulcerative colitis

    • Post-traumatic stress disorder

    • Severe arthritis

    • Cachexia or wasting syndrome.

    • Alzheimer’s disease

    • Peripheral neuropathy

    • Intractable pain (pain that has not responded to ordinary medications, treatment, or surgical measures for more than six (6) months)

    • Severe nausea

    • Seizures, including those characteristics of epilepsy

    • Severe and persistent muscle spasms, including those characteristics of multiple sclerosis.
