New to Arkansas’ Finest? How Your First Dispensary Visit Works

If you’ve never visited a medical marijuana dispensary before, it can feel a little intimidating. New card, new rules, new products, and a lot of new vocabulary.

This guide walks you through exactly what happens when you visit an Arkansas’ Finest Dispensary in Clarksville, Conway, Eureka Springs, Jonesboro, Morrilton, or Pine Bluff, so you can walk in feeling prepared instead of overwhelmed.

Step 1: Make sure you have the right documents

Before you head to the dispensary, double-check that you have:

  • A valid government-issued photo ID

    • Driver’s license or state ID

    • Passport

  • A valid Arkansas medical marijuana patient card, or

  • A valid visiting patient card issued by Arkansas for out-of-state patients

Arkansas law requires us to verify your ID and medical card at every visit before we can let you purchase. If one of them is expired or missing, we won’t be able to complete a sale, so it’s worth the quick wallet check before you leave the house.

Step 2: Check your nearest location & hours

Arkansas’ Finest connects a network of dispensaries across the state, including:

  • Clarksville

  • Conway

  • Eureka Springs

  • Jonesboro

  • Morrilton

  • Pine Bluff

On our homepage, you’ll find each location’s:

  • Address

  • Phone number

  • Hours

  • “Order Online” button for menu + pickup options

If it’s your first time, give yourself a little extra time in case there’s a line or you want to talk through products with a budtender.

Step 3: Arrive and check in

When you arrive:

  1. Check in at the front desk.
We’ll ask for your medical card and photo ID. Our team will verify your information and make sure you’re in good standing with the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Program.

  2. We’ll confirm your patient status.
Once you’re checked in, we’ll add you to the queue to enter the sales floor or consultation area, depending on the store layout.

If you ever have questions about the process or what your card allows, just ask. Our front desk staff is used to first-time patients and will walk you through it step by step.

Step 4: Browse the menu (online or in-store)

You can browse products in two main ways:

  • Online menu:
Click “Order Online” for your preferred location to view current inventory, deals, and product details. You can place an order for in-store pickup to save time.

  • In-store menu:
Paper menus, digital menus, and displays will help you compare:

    • Flower

    • Vapes and cartridges

    • Edibles

    • Concentrates

    • Tinctures

    • Topicals and more

If you’re not sure where to start, just tell your budtender a little about your experience level and preferences (for example: low-dose, no smoking, nighttime only, etc.).

Step 5: Talk with your budtender

Budtenders (sometimes called consultants) are here to help you:

  • Understand product types and formats

  • Compare potency, cannabinoids, and terpenes

  • Find options that align with your doctor’s guidance and personal comfort level

  • Stay within your legal purchase limit (Arkansas patients can buy up to 2.5 ounces of cannabis, or equivalent products, every 14 days)

They can’t give you medical diagnoses or replace your doctor, but they can absolutely help you make sense of the menu.

Step 6: Checkout, discounts & Bud Bucks

At checkout, we’ll:

  • Ring up your items

  • Apply any eligible discounts (veteran, senior, low-income, or daily deals)

  • Add Bud Bucks to your Collective Club loyalty account when applicable

  • Show your points balance on your receipt so you can track your rewards

Remember:

  • Arkansas law requires tax on medical marijuana products. At Arkansas’ Finest, our menus use tax-included pricing whenever possible so what you see is what you pay at the register.

  • We currently accept cash and debit (PIN) at all locations; onsite ATMs are available.

Step 7: Take it home & use responsibly

Once you leave the dispensary:

  • Use products only in private spaces where you’re allowed to do so

  • Never drive under the influence

  • Store your medicine safely away from children and pets

If you have questions about how cannabis might interact with your medications or health conditions, talk to your doctor, pharmacist, or a qualified healthcare provider.
